This steampunk, bad Santa sleigh is first of all bringing skulls, bones, eyeballs, and matches to those of us being naughty. Second, it started out as this marvelous little thick book with wheels!! How fabulous is that for a whole dollar at Target! I unfortunately had to make this from the back to front due to technical difficulties but it has a neat little velcro closure (You know I love those!!)! I covered the wheels with some cogs and covered the book base with gold and black cardstock. The sleigh was a freebie from Graphic Fairy I think and the skull and bone from my scraps making my wreath from Smeared Ink (Thanks, Teri! see I told you I put myself in the corner!), the eyeball is from a pack at Simply Betty's stamps also the pack of matches, and the little bag of cotton candy is handmade from my stash. This was posted accidentally at Haunted House (bad computer, bad!!) but just the front! The bag has googly eyes...googly eyes and velcro closure..I am over the moon!! The sentiment was made in PhotoShop. The bag is made of burlap paper...probably should have distressed it more.... The front page is covered with paper from my stash as well as the second page. The banner is colored with distress ink watered down and the title is written with a embossing pen and black embossing powder on top of that. The clock is embossed with silver. The banner is from Simply Betty's Stamps and the clock and the "believe" paper is from Graphic Fairy. The Believe page is punched with a holly leaf edge punch on loan from my Auntie and the Santa face is covered with an ornament from Smeared Ink. The lovely skelly has golden embossed eyes and a red, crackle finish ribbon! Can you guess I just got my first heat gun and embossing stuff? Yep, took the dive off the deep end...any advice will be appreciated!! Oh well, off with you....I am watching to make sure you leave lots of wonderful comments to my friends to the right!! Hey, you.....start typing!!!
EEK! I'm loving what you've done with that book! Damn that it's so shitty out or I'd be running to Target as we speak. the cog wheels are great and the google eyes on the sack make me giggle. Fabulous! Isn't this Day 6? xxD

My precious grandpuppy, Yoshi! He went through gastrointestinal surgery for an obstruction in August and almost didn't make it. It is now November and he is doing so well just can't eat hard food:( But I love mushing his food twice a day and feeding my beautiful baby boy:)
