Left of Center Design Team Project for Challenge #60 with Ike's Art

This week we are being sponsored by Ike's Art!  Always fabulous images, I love Sue's work and love coloring her stamps! Our theme at Left of Center is "New Starts" or of course you can always go the LOC way!  I chose Ike's Holly Fairy and Troll images to represent the theme.  We all know the handsome Prince was always a troll so this Troll is asking for help this year.  He has a feeling this may be the year he turns into that handsome Prince!  With some help from the Holly Fairy and her magic wand ....we even have a Grumpy from the Smeared Ink Lovestruck Grumpies rubber set offering to tag team the poor fella!  The sentiments come from the Smeared Ink set and were stamped with black and doodled with gold and inked edges with gold.  The Grumpy didn't want to play sparkly so his sentiment is from Tim Holtz's alphabet stickers.  The wooden doors hiding our Troll while the magic works is a freebie!! from Ike's Art along with the manger on the inside cover.  Ike's Fan Art page on Facebook generously gave us those and the 3 wise men, a happy doggie, and a "Bah Humbug" doggie:)  I colored everything with Bic Mark Its and inked all edges with Distress Inks.  The paper is from DCWV "The Once Upon a Time" stack...this is such gorgeous paper!!  And you know me...the foundation of my oversize card is the packaging from my Christmas pajamas!  A fold over gate piece of cardboard?  What else do you do but create!!   I did use a gold gel pen and some score tape and Scotch Brand Liquid Adhesive.  Hope you enjoy my fairy tale...hint:  it does have a happy ending that you will see before May!:)

Happy Crafting and go hurry and join the challenge!!   Have fun!!

My precious grandpuppy, Yoshi! He went through gastrointestinal surgery for an obstruction in August and almost didn't make it. It is now November and he is doing so well just can't eat hard food:( But I love mushing his food twice a day and feeding my beautiful baby boy:)
