This year brought breast cancer to my family.  My mom was diagnosed in April, 2014.  We are now 7 weeks post op and she had a double mastectomy and the pathology report was very good.  I am declaring her a survivor even if the doctors insist on waiting.  She is my hero!  And if you have read my blogs, you  know I say that a lot and I mean it!  Please take care of yourself and do the self -exams and if you're old  enough go get your mammograms.  Spread the word....we are responsible for pushing each other to protect themselves!

My project is an empty stuffing box covered with a pink paper and I used the S&S Digi cutie and layered her on blue corregated paper and fuzzy cut around.  The wording is on a pink fussy cut rose glued onto the same blue paper.  I also stuck on a piece of flattened polymer clay that was pink and stamped with "save the ta tas" then painted a very thin was of black acrylic paint and wiped off with a soft cloth.  When dry I glued on.  The back is a wide piece of cardboard scored 2 inched down from the top and glued down the 2 inch strip to the back.  This acts as a photo frame leg.

Happy Crafting and visit these awesome blogs!  I am learning so much it is unbelievable!  Join in and have some fun!

I wasn't going to say it but I didn't see all the details till I printed her out and when I say her I was like....wow....where will I use her at? But as I started coloring her cause I have like 3 S&S stamps and wanted to the Friday thing, I was thinking about October being the month for awareness and it hit me. I was really glad!lol

My precious grandpuppy, Yoshi! He went through gastrointestinal surgery for an obstruction in August and almost didn't make it. It is now November and he is doing so well just can't eat hard food:( But I love mushing his food twice a day and feeding my beautiful baby boy:)
